Hani Habashi

Hani Habashi

Born in Vienna to an Austrian mother and Egyptian father, Canadian artist and musician Hani Habashi started his career with a fine arts degree but then took a detour into audio engineering, composing for films, and as a musician under the project monikers: Tummy Drums, Meat Makes Meat, This Motor Oil, Blip Object Array and Corporal Salt.

In the last decade he has returned to his fine arts roots and has produced a series of sculptures inspired by manufacturing, engineering and architecture. As an offshoot of that project he produced a series of photographs, soon to be available at Dumagrad.
